S.M.A.C. - St. Mary Adult Catholics

 We are happy to report that there has been a growing number of young adults choosing to make St. Mary Catholic Church their home of worship! 

With a Youth Group for teens and a "Young at Heart" Group for older adults at St. Mary, ideas for a group that would meet the generational needs of those adults in their 20s or 30s  began to circulate- a group that falls right "SMAC" dab in the middle of the other age groups! 

In an effort to reach out and meet the needs of  our Parish's  growing young adult population, a group of like-minded young adults got together to discuss finding new ways to connect with one another for fellowship and spiritual growth while growing deeper in faith through service & learning with the church.  It was through these discussions, just a few short months ago that S.M.A.C.- St. Mary Adult Catholics: 20-30something Group was born!

The mission of  S.M.A.C.- St. Mary Adult Catholics: 20-30something Group is to promote a spiritual, social and service oriented community for Catholics in their 20s and 30s ( young adults investigating the Faith are always welcome. The more the merrier!).  We hope to provide opportunities to meet these goals through gifts of service to the church and community and to each other through worship, prayer, fellowship, friendship and fun!

If you would like to share your interests or have ideas for events or activities or you would like to get involved in the planning process for S.M.A.C. please print, fill out and return an Interest Survey or just show up at one of our monthly Planning & Leadership Meetings which are scheduled on the First Monday of Every Month from 6:30PM to 7:30PM in the Specht Building located just off of the church parking lot adjacent to the bank.  Everyone is encouraged to stop by.  You do not need to be a part of a committee to offer suggestions, and all ideas are welcome! We often go out to a local restaurant after the meeting to share a few drinks and laughs!
