Service Saturday Sponsors...
In honor of "Make a Difference Day" SMAC -uniting with Catholic Social Services and a group of around 75 volunteers - took out along the streets of Columbus to make a difference in the lives of those in need for "Service Saturday 2008". Some people painted houses, some pulled weeds and did yard work, sealed windows for the approaching winter and even replaced old and worn out gutters on houses to improve the lives and home of residents living throughout Columbus. SMAC would like to send a special THANK YOU out to all of the volunteers who came out and gave up their Saturday to help those people in need! We would also like to thank members of the Service group who put in countless hours organizing and planning this event with Catholic Social Services to make this event one of the biggest it has ever been!:) It is through the efforts of people like YOU that make our group worthwhile!
